Work Rights and Stay back Policies

  • Part-time work right – 40 hours per fortnight when the courses are in session.
  • Full-time work rights for a spouse for Masters, Ph.D., and post-doctoral programs
  • Bachelors can have a stay back for 2 years. Masters also can have it extended to another 2 years.
  • 3-year Master's degree by research can extend up to 3 years & Ph.D. students for 4 years.

Test Requirement

Generally, IELTS is an essential requirement for admission to all colleges.IELTS (International English Language Testing System) & TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) requirements for various programs are: 

  • Graduate courses-At least an IELTS score of 6.0 in each band and an overall IELTS score of 6.5 and above.
  • Under Graduate Courses -At least 5.5 in each of the four IELTS bands requirements and an overall minimum score of 6.0.
  • Engineering Degree, Teaching/Education Studies- At least 7.0 overall & per band.
